About the Seminar
Join Carla McLuskie (Digital Fundraising Academy) and Alex Reid (The AI Training Company) for a thought-provoking seminar exploring how digital and AI are reshaping the fundraising landscape in 2025.
Carla will explore the pitfalls and challenges charities face in digital fundraising, from increasing advertising restrictions to the common mistakes that limit success. She will also highlight the unsung opportunities in the digital space, including how low cost SaaS tools have evolved to give charities new ways to build meaningful supporter experiences and drive long term impact.
Alex will demystify the role of AI in fundraising today, unpacking where the sector currently stands with adoption and the key data privacy considerations fundraisers need to know. He will share practical ways AI can save time for fundraisers when doing things like drafting appeals and sparking campaign ideas to speeding up grant applications and content generation, as well as how charities can train AI to reflect their unique tone of voice and case studies. Alex will also explore the rise of automation, agentic AI, custom GPTs and other tools fundraisers can start implementing to save time and increase impact.
